Day 1

Today has been a good day so far as good days go. At the moment it's only 6pm, so I've still got the lonely evening to get through, but I will stay strong!

My goal for the day is 1,000 calories or less.

How well have I done?

  • One slice of brown bread, toasted with butter -- approx. 140 kcal.
  • Half a can of Heinz vegetable soup -- approx. 86 kcal.
  • One slice of brown bread with butter -- approx. 140 kcal.
  • 80g grams raw strawberries (one portion, 6 strawberries) -- approx. 20 kcal.
  • 250g raw watermelon (one portion, 4 thin slices) -- approx. 80 kcal.
  • One glass of red grape Tropicana (one portion) -- approx. 200 kcal.

Calories left for supper: 334. This could be interesting... I'm having stirfry, so I'll probably go a little over, but at least I'll get that extra portion of veg! :D


EDIT:
Supper!

  • Singapore noodles -- approx. 181 kcal.
  • Mixed vegetable stirfry -- approx. 33 kcal.
  • Soy sauce (light, drizzle) -- approx. 70 kcal.
  • Sweet corn flavoured crisps -- approx. 100.
I didn't finish my stir fry, but I might eat some more later if I get hungry again.

So, today's total for food now comes to: 1050!

That's the best I've done in a long time. I'm proud. And I won't eat any more calories than that because I've still not finished the stir fry. Well done me. :D


Any exercise?

  • Walked to and from lecture/library from my flat. 10 mins swift walking.
  • Walked to and from the school office and the box office. 15 mins swift walking.
