Day 2

Today I tried a new method, eating a heavier breakfast/lunch (I woke up too late to eat anything for actual breakfast and didn't want to cram in an extra meal I didn't need) and then having a regular supper. If I'd eaten lunch I would have made my supper smaller and lighter.

My goal for the day is 1,000 kcal or less.

How well have I done?
  • Two large eggs -- approx. 140 kcal.
  • Two slices of toasted brown bread with butter -- approx. 280 kcal.
  • A little tomato sauce -- approx. 30 kcal.
  • Half a packet of noodles -- approx. 90 kcal.
  • 5 fish fingers -- approx 230 kcal.
  • One glass of red grape Tropicana juice -- approx. 150 kcal.
  • 80g gramms raw strawberries (one portion, 6 strawberries) -- 20 kcal.
  • One tin of sweetcorn -- approx. 100 kcal.
Total for today:  1040 kcal!! I'm SO proud of myself for doing this today. If I can keep this up regularly, I know I'll soon adjust to the limit and then I'll be able to start running and yoga again without worrying about my energy levels too much.

Any exercise?

Well, I didn't do much exercise today, besides walking to my seminar and back. However, I plan on doing situps tonight before bed, just to get me in shape for when I start doing yoga again. Also, today I got a free pedometer that I ordered in the mail. Now I can keep track of how many steps I make every day, which will be a great way to figure out how to be more active!

Tomorrow I have another seminar, and then I'm heading to the cinema. I'll be careful not to buy any sweets or popcorn, and I'm also avoiding fizzy drinks like the plague.

If there's anybody out there reading this: wish me luck!
